Hi! I'm Calvin Jiang, a debater at Jasper High School. My accomplishments are modest compared to my partners, but I am ranked 44th in Texas and have qualified and broken at the Texas Forensic Association State Tournament. I'm excited to teach debate here at Open Floor!

Abhay Harika

Founder, Head of Service Management, Instructor

Hi! I'm Abhay, a debater at Jasper High School. I've won MS Harvard, Georgetown, and have made it to quarterfinals of MSTOC. I'm currently 24th in Texas and have qualified for both the state and national tournament. As a debater who struggled early on, I hope I can help debaters get a good footing to build on.

Jay Lee

Administrative Coordinator, Head of Internal Operations, Instructor

Hi! I'm Jay Lee, and I do Lincoln Douglas debate at Jasper, although i’ve also competed in public forum for several tournaments. In my freshman year, I placed first at my first varsity LD tournament and saw a lot of success in the local circuit, breaking and placing high in many other tournaments throughout the year. I qualified to the TFA State tournament with 18 state points. Excited to be working with y'all! :)

Lillian Liang

Hi! I'm Lillian, a debater at Jasper. I've qualified to both the state and national tournament, went to the Harvard tournament, and have had numerous successful runs at local tournaments. I hope I can help you with debating, but more importantly, I hope I can help you develop the ability to convince others.

Hi! I'm Dan. Over my Freshman year, I qualified and broke at the state level, have done very well at multiple locals, and am ranked 44th in Texas. I'm happy to create quality material that will help the next generation of debaters (hopefully).

Hey!! I’m Sai, a rising Junior at Plano West Senior High. I mainly compete in Congressional Debate and have qualified for & semi finaled the state tournament. I’m super excited to teach speech at Openfloor & would love to see you there!

Manya Jonnadula

Heya! My name is Manya Jonnadula and I'm currently a rising Sophomore at Jasper High school. as per speech and debate, I've been in the activity for 3 and a half years, captaining over 60 kids. I’m experienced in congressional debate and different oral interpretation events, reaching out rounds local tournaments. Speech and Debate is a perplexing extracurricular and I'm more than happy to help guide you through that journey!

Prajna Praveen

Hey there! I’m Prajna Praveen, and I’ll be a sophomore at Jasper High School this upcoming school year. This school year, I’ve gained a lot of experience competing in the local circuit, advancing to the semifinals in multiple competitive rounds. I’ll also be a congressional debate captain for the upcoming school year. I’m excited to meet y’all at Open Floor and learn lots together!

Hi! I’m Karen Haruvy, and I’ll be one of your speech instructors for Open Floor Debate! As a rising sophomore and congressional debate captain for the next school year, I’ve participated in multiple competitive local circuit tournaments, reaching to semifinals and final rounds multiple times.
