Our Mission
As debaters who regularly research and debate about current events, we are all too familiar with the conflicts, suffering, and even atrocities that go on all around the globe, silenced by politicians and the media to present a “better story”. Though it would be unrealistic for us to tackle all of the world’s problems and crises at once, our team here at Open Floor Debate is dedicated to do the little things, because in a life or death scenario, that’s what matters the most. Whether it’s providing food to the starved, building clean water infrastructure, or making the world a more habitable place, Open Floor plans to use its earned funds to help as many as we can, because one life saved is worth an immeasurable amount of money. Additionally, through providing debate lessons we teach students invaluable lessons about what’s going on around the world and build the next generation’s ability to lead and communicate, which bolsters the drive for a better world order.
Why Us?
As a non-profit organization, we strive to provide affordable instruction in debate that caters to a wide variety of audiences. With coaches who have reached to top 20 in the state and faculty who have made it to the national tournament, we promise quality yet affordable coaching for students aiming to achieve in speech or debate.
If that wasn't enough to convince you, Open Floor Debate offers a trial and placement class so that students can make sure that their experience is tailored to them. That way, parents can ensure there is no harm and no risk before they pay.

Our Services
1
Into Debate
All good things start with a strong foundation. In Intro to Debate, students will work on skills fundamental to all debates, like public speaking and argumentation. In addition, students will be introduced to the structure of tournaments in middle school or high school, as well as learning how to research and prepare for these tournaments.
2
Advanced Debate
In contrast to Intro to Debate, Advanced Debate is catered toward students that have already attended a tournament and already know the structure of the debate event they want to compete in. Because of this, Advanced Debate will work on the more technical skills within the round, sharpening each student to their best competitive potential.
