Our Beginnings

Realizing the importance of learning speech & debate, a group of friends aimed to make a change in the debate community by providing accessible and quality learning to all. With a vision to provide a program where kids can have fun and learn simultaneously, Open Floor Debate was founded.

Our Purpose

At Open Floor Debate, our goal is to provide an accessible, affordable, and quality speech & debate program where anyone can learn. Our founders created this program to ensure that no matter the background nor the income would stand in the way of a child's ability to access high-caliber teaching, especially in a subject as crucial as speech & debate. We believe this program can help streamline social skills in children, allowing them to confidently interact with others despite their differences, as well as honing critical thinking skills and quick decision making.
